From the dark blue of the sea beside the rocks to the white foam of the waves gently breaking on the shore, it is picturesque and extremely popular due to its close proximity to Ibiza Town. Surrounded by sand dunes, it is also a popular area for those who like to hike.

Es Cavallet’s crowd tends to be a melting pot of all nationalities, sexualities and personalities! The south end of the beach attracts a predominantly gay crowd and is popular with nudists, while the centre is full of families and expats.

When to go

Hit the beach before lunchtime, especially in August, or you’ll get stuck having to walk through the salt flats in blistering heat!
