Approaching Ibiza agroturismo Safragell, Ibiza Suites & Spa, from the San Juan road, the triple-arched farmhouse sits proudly amongst stone terraces on the brow of the hill. As far back as the 1500s, the finca (farmhouse) and pou (well) of Safragell, Ibiza Suites & Spa played an important role in the San Lorenzo community, and now, thanks to the vision of two brothers and Lina Cardona from the Ibicenco Guasch family, its former glory has been fully restored with a luxurious and contemporary interpretation.
From the farmhouse and stables, twelve spacious and completely private suites have been created within the Ibiza Agroturismo, all with campo views promising a peaceful escape. Safragell, Ibiza Suites & Spa suites come with luscious green lawns and covered terraces for privacy, whilst two suites boast private pools; one is set in an independent building entirely, with pool and guest annexe. The feeling is one of staying in a villa, but with all the services of a luxury hotel.
In the Safragell, Ibiza Suites & Spa restaurant, which is open to the public, Ibiza-born head chef Albert Moran uses seasonal produce to create a modern Mediterranean menu, adding fusion twists from his many years travelling. Weekly gastronomic feasts delight sociable diners, but for true indulgence guests of the Ibiza Agroturismo can have meals delivered directly to your suite, to be enjoyed in your garden or dining area.
At the heart of the Safragell, Ibiza Suites & Spa ethos is tranquility. Underneath the wooden-deck splendour of the swimming pool sits the exclusive hotel spa. Sauna, hammam and water therapy pool all share the glorious views across the campo, and Santa Eulalia. Civilisation seems eons away from the peaceful nature of the Ibiza Agroturismo itself.
