A high-end Ibiza interior design studio on the famous San Juan road, KsaR Living is the vision, hobby and obsession of owner Alberto Cortes – a contemporary nomad who is constantly circumnavigating the world in search of inspiration. Its façade gives little clue as to the treasure trove of décor, indoor and outdoor furnishings, lighting, bathroom fixtures, art and textiles that lie within. Step inside however, and you’ll be enveloped in Alberto’s world of wonderment – a place where each and every piece has a story, be it from the artisans who handcrafted it in an exotic land, or the tale that led to the discovery of a brand, to the origins of the raw materials used in production.

Describing the KsaR Living style as ‘holiday architecture’ – the perfect fit for homes, villas, restaurants and hotels in Ibiza – Alberto sources, or designs, every single item in the cavernous showroom himself, making it a very personal collection despite the volume of stock on hand. Where most Ibiza interior designers need to custom order for a project, Alberto prides himself on being able to give clients the luxury of instant gratification. Whether you’re looking to spontaneously snap up something new, or want to kit out your entire villa for the new season, it can be done quickly and easily here.

Bespoke four poster beds, tables, chairs and cabinets made from reclaimed wood possess a patina unlike any other, sitting alongside stylish pieces from interior design brands from Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Germany and France, and handmade artisanal décor from across the globe. Tribal sculptures, statement tableware, antique pieces, dynamic paintings and striking photography prints, hemp carpets, deep soak stone tubs, hand carved vanities and amazing tiles add another dimension to the 1500 square metre KsaR Living showroom. There’s also rail upon rail of gorgeous textiles for both interior and exterior – colour fast and water-proof of course – upholstery and soft furnishings. The mix is eclectic, but it works.

Alberto takes on a very limited amount of complete projects per year, however also he collaborates with the best and finest Ibiza interior designers, architects, project managers, property developers and constructors in the business.
