Just seven months after the first spade was put into the ground, Amber International Developments – led by founder and expert project manager Gray Gillot – have completed work on their latest project, an impressive six-bedroom traditional finca built on the side of a mountain with views over the Mediterranean and surrounding countryside.

Collaborating with renowned Ibiza architectural firm Blakstad and experienced landscape designer Jason Watson Todd of Terravita Gardens, Gray explains that simplicity is the key to making properties such as this work. His basic four-point rule is working with white walls, lush green landscaping, Sabina (wood) and typical Ibicencan stone – executed with utmost attention to detail of course.
‘If a property is designed and built properly, it can sell quickly,’ says Gray, who boasts 30 years of experience plus a passion for quality, attention to detail and fast-track completion. ‘Our standards are never compromised and whilst working with traditional methods, we also use the latest technologies, such as Air Source Heat Pump for affordable underfloor heating and practical solar energy panels while drawing on the environment for elements like a freshwater well.’
The finished finca was marketed at 2.5 million euros and had an offer within two weeks of being on the market. It has continued to wow existing and future clients in terms of its quality, craftsmanship, professionalism and style – a ‘real life’ portfolio and testament to the high calibre of Amber Developments’ work.
