Set in a beautifully restored ancient finca on the iconic San Juan ‘restaurant road’, A Mi Manera is a farm-to-table Ibiza restaurant that gives island foodies and visiting gourmands one of the most magical dining experiences on the island. Immersed within a lush and colourful vegetable garden, alive with the sparkle of fairy lights and laughter, the beloved restaurant showcases classic Mediterranean cuisine with a strong Italian family influence – it’s KM0 cuisine with a very creative twist.
Every course is conscious and seasonal – in true Italian style, the Ibiza restaurant suggests starting with antipasti; divine in its simplicity, and with fresh garden produce present in every dish. Popular starters at A Mi Manera include the beautifully presented beetroot carpaccio with mustard vinaigrette and fried capers; a plate of silky wagyu cecina; bluefin tuna croquettes with basil mayo; and zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and anchovies.
A second course of the Ibiza restaurant’s signature pasta or risotto comes highly recommended – choose between Gragnano spaghetti with red prawn tartare, Ibiza lemon and toasted pine nuts; ‘A Mi Manera‘ spaghetti with Apulian burrata; leek and Champagne risotto (for two); or tagliatelle with Wagyu ragù. Mains include charcoal-grilled sea bass topped with fresh-picked herbs, plus premium quality cuts of Wagyu, Kobe and Black Angus beef alongside a mouth-watering local pluma Iberica – try the mixed grill to avoid any foodie FOMO.
There’s no rush to leave A Mi Manera – be sure to stay and share a selection of the Ibiza restaurant‘s signature desserts, such as the artesanal ice cream bucket; passionfruit cremeux with tropical fruit; dark chocolate mousse with hazelnut creme anglaise; and a classic Italian tiramisu or red fruit cheesecake.
A Mi Manera possesses a true secret garden charm, thanks to whimsical styling details courtesy of the Ibiza restaurant’s creative director, Manu Crotti. In the main dining area, vintage tables with brightly coloured chairs are scattered under a festoon-lit canopy of trees. Art is peppered across the finca and its grounds, ranging from glorious ceramic busts to contemporary sculptures and more. A unique tree-house style bar serves bespoke cocktails where fruits and herbs grown onsite are brought into the mix, while a path through the gardens reveals tables overlooking the gardens; an exquisite spot for fine dining with friends on a balmy Ibiza evening.
Open nightly dinner, and available for weddings and events, A Mi Manera is an Ibiza restaurant with a heart – in addition to maintaining a KM0 produce philosophy, the owners have opted to use only sustainable and organic serviettes and tablecloths in order to save water, all of which is lovingly preserved to tend to the garden’s soil. The restaurant’s name translates to ‘My way’ – and theirs is the way of the future.
