Weekly Juice Boost: Seductive Goyi

This is a fantastic morning smoothie, but also great any time you’re in need of energy to keep you going.

Ingredients:
1 cup peeled and chopped mango
1 small banana
½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
½ cup coconut rice milk or coconut water (available from health food stores)
¼ cup of goyi berries
Pinch of cayenne (optional)

Method:
This week we are going to blend, baby! Put all your ingredients in the blender with some ice cubes if you wish and blend it with passion!

Why drink it?
Goyi berries are wonderful superfoods, used over the centuries to boost immunity, increase alkalinity, increase stamina, longevity and sexual energy. So if you’re feel rather amorous, increase the dose of goyi in your smoothie – you cannot overdose on these amazing little berries as they are fantastic adaptogen too.

Cayenne gives you that real wake up call feeling, but don’t overdo it. The mixture of mango and coconut instantly transports you to the Caribbean… all you need is some Bob Marley and you’ll be ready to jam!
