One of the world’s most renowned foods for its deluxe, rich flavour and aphrodisiac properties, not to mention how rare it is to find, the not-so-humble truffle is a chef’s delight to work with, and next week, Ibiza Gran Hotel’s Jackpot Restaurant has developed an entire menu to to honour the gritty looking yet delectable fungus, which they have dubbed ‘the diamond of the kitchen‘! Starters include veal carpaccio with truffle shavings and parmesan cheese or ravioli with spinach and ricotta in truffle and foie gras sauce while mains include the mouthwateringly delicious truffled eggs with Iberian cured ham shavings or roasted coquelet stuffed woth vegetables and truffle among others.
