Take inspiration from the colourful wild blooms springing up across the island when designing your dream Mediterranean garden.

Borage (Borago officinalis) – also known as starflower – are small, vivid blue flowers blooming all year round due to Ibiza’s mild Mediterranean climate. A self-seeding edible herb, it is highly attractive to bees, making it a popular companion plant – also said to improve the flavour of nearby tomatoes and strawberries.

Between January and March, the fields and valleys of Ibiza’s north are covered in a snow white haze, as the almond trees (Amygdalus communis) come into full bloom, bursting with tiny white blossoms that signify spring is just around the corner. Perfect for Mediterranean climates.
