On a beautiful September day in 2013, Andrew and Emma invited 60 of their nearest and dearest to Las Nubes, a stunning San Carlos villa with spectacular sea views, to celebrate their Ibiza wedding day. The event was expertly and meticulously designed and managed by the experts at Ibiza Wedding, who began in June with the couple’s wish list and a specific brief to create a special event that was quietly elegant, charming, and of course, unforgettable.
From face-to-face meetings with the couple and their families, to multiple site visits and supplier meetings, planning transport schedules and party details, Ibiza Wedding designer Kerry-Anne Winton was with the couple every step of the way. During the latter stages of the planning process – when finer details such as décor, flowers, hair and make-up were being planned – a charming little agroturismo in San Juan became Ibiza Wedding HQ, as Emma and her sister Claire (both very stylish and creative girls!) set up shop, working alongside Kerry and Danielle of Velvet Circus to dream up (and execute!) the perfect mood board for the big day ahead.
It was vital to the couple that their guests had a truly magical and fun experience, so much time was spent creating the perfect supper and cocktail menus, working closely with chef Craig Colligan of Cardamom Catering and James Lindley of The Bar Ibiza (maker of the best espresso martinis in the world – fact!). In terms of entertainment, The Rolling Soul band opened the dance floor and started a party that continued with DJ Brian BeeZwax taking over on the decks and keeping the dance floor full until the early hours of the next morning.
A fun highlight was the groomsmen jumping into the villa pool completely suited and booted (thank goodness for the sultry September weather!), while extra brownie points also must be given to the page boy – Emma and Andrew’s gorgeous son William.
