Beachouse Ibiza

A laid-back sanctuary on the busy shores of Playa d'en Bossa, Beachouse Ibiza is an Ibiza beach restaurant designed to savour the mesmerising daily rituals of Balearic life.

Words: Abby Lowe

Word of Beachouse Ibiza’s barefoot, bohemian charm has spread far beyond Ibiza, acting as a calling card for the world’s curiously minded travellers who enthusiastically arrive in their droves, ready to soak up its wonders. Part of the Island Hospitality Group, the Ibiza beach restaurant is a laid-back sanctuary among the busy parade of Playa d’en Bossa — the longest stretch of uninterrupted sand on the island — where guests are invited to rest, relax and savour the mesmerising daily rituals of Balearic life, all punctuated by a delicious, well-crafted menu, tasty cocktails, and a melodic soundtrack..

Playa d’en Bossa glows differently in the early morning light, so take advantage with rejuvenating Beachouse Ibiza Yoga and start the day as you mean to go on. Beginning at 9.30am, each daily session costs 25€ and includes a vitamin-packed juice after class. Stretching complete, set aside some time to enjoy every aspect of the Ibiza beach restaurant, which opens daily between 10am and 8pm. Tuck into a bountiful breakfast or while away the hazy hours on luxe sun loungers — available to reserve for one, two or four people — each one sheltered by natural seagrass sombreros that bristle in the breeze, palm trees swaying gently above.

All that sun-soaked relaxation requires sustenance, of course, which is where Beachouse Ibiza’s delectable menu comes in. Curated by Group Director of F&B Gennaro Vitto and executive chef Sergio Cardeñosa, each dish is an ode to a new wave of Mediterranean cuisine that uses locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to make magic on the plate. World flavours combine with produce from land and sea on the Ibiza beach restaurant‘s charcoal grill, culminating in sensational sharing plates, inventive salads and decadent dishes like grilled Formentera lobster with yuzu-caper butter sauce, and Merela sirloin steak with potato puree and green peppers.

Relished beneath sun and blue skies, lunch at the Ibiza beach restaurant is served between 1pm and 5.30pm daily, while dinners lit by the moon’s silvery rays take place from 7pm until midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There are also decadent full moon dinners to take part in each month, and the BOHO experience, where casual sundowners meet dinner and dancing atop the sand, takes place every Thursday evening. All of this is soundtracked in classic Beachouse Ibiza style, where music from all corners of the world intertwine and live music takes guests on mesmerising sonic journeys.

Finally, it goes without saying that beach days are for everyone at Beachouse Ibiza, so don’t hesitate in dropping the little ones off at Little Beachouse, a completely complimentary service for guests that whisks kids away on adventures that explore island-inspired arts and crafts and other exciting activities like Little Yoga and Little Musicians. The Ibiza beach restaurant hosts kids every day between 12.30pm and 5.30pm, no booking necessary, so kick back and let your inner spirit run free.
