Ibiza restaurants: Fusion BBQ Short Rib at Bambuddha

In keeping with the restaurant’s new conscious kitchen ethos, the finest organic beef is sourced from mainland Spain, then marinated, Korean-style for 48 hours, before being slowly smoked with local woods, American barrel style, giving the melt-in-your-mouth meat an oaky, caramelised flavour with a spicy kick.

Served alongside grilled baby Mediterranean vegetables – that are grown on demand for Bambuddha by an organic farm here in Ibiza – the dish is the perfect example of Bambuddha’s knack for fusing exotic flavours and techniques with cutting-edge cooking trends and local ingredients.
