Ibiza restaurants: Patatas Bravas at Cala Bonita

2017 sees divine seaside restaurant Cala Bonita on the beach of S’Estanyol add an all-new tapas and sharing bar to its dining options. Here the chefs reimagine Spanish classics and invent new dishes using the freshest local ingredients. Their take on the traditional Patatas Bravas is a work of art. Thinly sliced potatoes are deep fried until delicately crispy. A hefty smear of Romesco sauce supports crispy potato skewers dolloped with a tangy black garlic aioli. Topping it off are pretty baby shoots scattered over the top, providing freshness and colour.

Order this innovative take on a classic snack with a cool cerveza, a crisp white wine or one of Cala Bonita’s delicious new agave-based cocktails. Take a seat at the bar or pull up a sunbed and soak up the sunshine glistening on the rippling water.
