Ibiza restaurants: Rip & Dip at Room 39 at Pikes

With the summer season fully underway, Pikes at Ibiza Rocks Hotel hidden in the hills behind San Antonio is the perfect hangout space to gather good friends and enjoy a hearty, honest modern British meal with a zesty Mediterranean twist. Room 39 is the in-house restaurant, open to one and all, with chef Lee Milne at the helm.

The Rip & Dip is made up of an impressive naturally fermented baguette, garnished with black sea salt and fresh sprigs of rosemary, is crunchy on the outside and rips apart to reveal a fluffy and airy texture within! The bread is accompanied by a dish of marinated green olives and a selection of four homemade tasty dips: creamy hummus with black sesame seeds, fresh beetroot with mint and cumin, creamy alioli, and aubergine caviar garnished with golden raisins and shallots. The perfect poolside snack or starter with which to ‘break bread’ at the lunch or dinner table.
