Ibiza restaurants: Wakame Seaweed Salad at The Giri Café

The Wakame Seaweed Salad has remained a firm favourite on The Giri Café menu for many years now, however with each new season it evolves slightly. The 2017 version of the plate – a dish only available as a starter by night and occasionally a special on the daytime lunch menu – sees it transformed with the addition of crispy soft shell crab, adding an all-new crunch to an old favourite.

The healthy wakame, watercress and edamame salad can also be tailored to suit vegans with marinated tofu and both versions are served with an Asian-influenced dressing plus mango, radish and cucumber. Accompanied with a crisp glass of rosé, it’s the ideal summer starter.
