Ibiza restaurants: Wild Beets
Let food be thy medicine…
Long-term Ibiza local Cliff Grubin is the brains and healthy eating aficionado behind the iPurify juice cleanse concept, hot new healthy eating hotspot Wild Beets and stalwart Benirras juice bar Sejuiced and has been subtly spearheading a campaign for overall nutritional awareness in Ibiza for many years.
Sejuiced came first – Ibiza’s original specialty juice bar, with smiley, healthy staff serving up big glasses of goodness seven days a week on Ibiza’s most iconic beach, Benirras. The first juice bar to offer supplements to its delicious juice concoctions, plus wheatgrass and spirulina shots among other superfood options, Sejuiced grew a steady following over the years and introduced Ibiza’s residents to the concept of ‘juicing’ as a lifestyle.
iPurify came next, a cold-pressed juice cleanse (the first of its kind in Spain) made from raw, organic and locally sourced produce, delivered directly to your door (or collected from home base Wild Beets). All juices are made using a hydraulic press to slowly extract raw juice with a high concentration of essential vitamins, minerals, enzymes and nutrients, giving your body everything it needs while you detox.
The most recent addition to Cliff’s healthy portfolio is the new raw, vegan and vegetarian hotspot, Wild Beets, set in the village of Santa Gertrudis. Open from morning until night, serving up a creative menu using modernist methods to maximise nutritional value and taste, whether you like it hot, cold or in liquid form, Wild Beets has got your taste buds covered – with all three concepts under its stylish roof.
