When you’re craving a rice dish but you don’t feel like paella, the place to be is luxurious Ibiza beach restaurant El Chiringuito…
A beach menu staple, the Chiringuito Beefburger is arguably the island’s very finest in its category.
The homemade pancakes at Ibiza beach restaurant El Chiringuito at Es Cavallet are a work of art on a plate, so pretty you almost don’t want to eat them… we said almost! Aromatic and deliciously sweet, this special breakfast dish has all the fluffiness of a pancake and the elegance of a French crêpe. The chef starts with homemade batter and spares none of the yummy extras, adding the freshest, juiciest berries, sticky maple syrup, and topping it all off with a light dusting of white, powdered sugar – certain to satisfy your sweet tooth in style.
You haven’t tasted sashimi until you’ve tried Japanese-trained chef Jérôme Palayer’s thinly sliced dish of raw sirvia at Ibiza beach restaurant El Chiringuito at Es Cavellet. A local white fish reminiscent of the classic Yellowtail sashimi, it’s prepared fresh every day with simple seasoning to bring out the incredible flavours of the sea – salt, pepper, and a touch of jalapeno pepper for a hint of spicy zing.

Judging by the relaxed atmosphere, happy faces and huge turnout at El Chiringuito de Es Cavallet‘s closing party, the residents of Ibiza were still definitely in a party mood, stretching the season for as long as they possibly can. The final beachside lunch session was in aid of charity (the Doncaster Jazz Association) and followed by an amazing party featuring Andy Cato of Groove Armada on the decks, alongside residents Mr Doris and Andy Baxter (plus lights and lasers galore). Exactly how a closing party should be!
The annual El Chiringuito de Es Cavallet closing lunch is becoming one of those extra special events Ibiza residents and visitors talk about for the entire year to come! To celebrate the close of the 2011 season, El Chiringuito will be donating the proceeds from all meals sold to charity, and special guest DJ Andy Cato of Groove Armada will be performing alongside residents Mr Doris and Andy Baxter.
From sunrise to sunset, the soft, golden sands of Es Cavallet set the perfect scene for your Ibiza wedding. A white wedding heaven, the venue is a perfectly executed synergy of chic white lounges, soft floating canopies, stripped back wooden tables and natural earthy tones, making your wedding look like it belongs in a glossy bridal magazine.
The sun is always shining on Es Cavallet, giving you all the more reason to indulge in a luxurious lunch at beautiful beach restaurant El Chiringuito, open daily until October 23. Dine in style on the finest Mediterranean cuisine, beach classic snacks and deluxe desserts, all accompanied by an impressive wine list and one of the best views in Ibiza!
