Now I’m no art critic, but I know what I like. And what I like rolls into Ibiza once a year, like an all-singing, all-dancing… no wait. Make that an all-PAINTING art extravaganza in the form of Urban In Ibiza, an annual festival-style art event taking place in the gorgeous gardens of my favourite escapist haven, Agroturismo Atzaro.

From 4pm this Sunday September 16, international art superstar Ra SUPERSTAR – loved by celebs around the world – hailing from Venice Beach, Los Angeles presents his Ibiza art collection 2012 ‘The World is Yours’ at beautiful Ibiza beach restaurant Elements Ibiza. Tonight, from 9.30pm in the beautiful surrounds of San Jose lounge bar Km5, it’s all about surrealism, with an exhibition of works by Dalí and Miró. This prestigious exhibition – run in collaboration with Epsilon-art – reaffirms Km5’s commitment to the arts and their dedication to promoting the highest level of culture and bringing the world’s most recognised artists, and thus connoisseurs of the art world, to Ibiza.

Urban in Ibiza returns to Agroturismo Atzaró for the third consecutive year to present their annual showcase: a collection of over 80 pieces of urban art curated by the infamous street artist Inkie and featuring contemporary artists such as Goldie, Ben Allen, Liliwenn and many more. With live painting by Inkie, Zeus, Alec Monopoly and more, fashion shows by Felder Felder and Sasha Moon plus music by Dansette Junior, Arthur Baker, Shovell, Samir, DJ Yuniq and more, it’s an event not to be missed! The opening party takes place from 8pm until 2am, with the exhibition running until August 20.
