Wedding photography by Annie Peel Photography. On a perfect early September day in 2011, with the Ibiza sunshine streaming down in all its golden, hazy glory, Helen and Guy tied the knot in the beautiful (and very photogenic!) little church in San Agusti. Right next door was a little bar with a pretty back garden, where an informal champagne reception took place while everyone calmed down from the emotion and excitement of the wedding! Read more
Photography by Butler-Madden Weddings. Photography by Ana Lui. Chinese pop singer Gigi Leung chose Ibiza as the location for her October 2011 nuptials to Spanish fiancé Sergio, who planned every last detail of the lavish white-themed wedding, right down to the bridal designer, guests’ accommodation, beachside location and specific vegetarian menu. With 80 close friends and family in attendance, the wedding was a fusion of Chinese and European customs, including a Chinese hair brushing ritual between mother and daughter and the Spanish tradition of the bride giving the groom a watch. Taking the celebrations to a whole new level over three days with family and friends on the white isle, starting with a pre-party in a private villa, followed by a wedding ceremony in Es Cubells church and reception at Cap d’es Falco with Paco Fernandez and flamenco dancing. Day three was perhaps the most OTT – and the one that photographer Polly Alexandre says best represents the couple – a wild extravaganza of an affair with tons of fabulousness and Ibiza wildness!
