Summer at San Jose bar and restaurant Raco Verd features plenty of fab live music, and this Thursday night The Rolling Soul take to the stage for a night of music covering all genres. The popular Supper Club is back this month at beloved San Jose restaurant Raco Verd, with invited local chefs showcasing their skills via a specially designed three-course meal every Friday night. The event kicks takes place every Friday with Belgian, Japanese, Italian and Ibicenco menus in the works (details on Facebook each week). Reservations essential – choose two courses for 16€ or three courses for 20€.

The final Supper Club of 2011 at San Jose restaurant Raco Verd is a ‘Festive Feast’ cooked by popular Ibiza private chef Simon Smyth… although we hear there’s no roast turkey in sight, the Christmas theme carries through all three courses and reservations are essential to ensure you don’t miss out. Raco Verd is also open on Saturday night for Caña y Roll, with a special guest DJ and pinchos and caña (or wine) for just 2€!

Just reading this week’s menu at Raco Verd’s Supper Club is enough to make your mouth water! Special guest chef Wido Kosowski heads into the kitchen to prepare a three-course feast (two courses for 16€ and three for 20€) including rosemary focaccia with organic roasted vegetables, grilled steak with chimichurri, vegetarian lasagne, tiramisu infused with green tea and apple and plum crumble. The first rule of cooking club is, don’t talk about cooking club. Well, that’s what successful graduates of Ibiza’s cooking classes may say when they wish to pretend their newfound cooking skills came naturally, or those who’ve sampled the delights of a supper club experience and want to keep it their little secret, but we say the second rule of cooking club is ignore rule number one!
