The Christmas music schedule kicks off this Friday night at Sandy’s Bar & Restaurant, and while not necessarily all about carols (yet!), it certainly does encourage the festive cheer! Norberto Rodriguez and Rafa Peletey bring their live virtuoso guitar and haunting, blissed out songs to the Santa Eulalia ‘restaurant road’. Don’t forget Sandy’s is also open for Sunday roasts, open mike nights on Wednesdays and tasty home-cooked food seven days a week.
Santa Eulalia’s most legendary restaurant, Sandy’s Bar & Restaurant kicks off your November weekends in true Sandy’s star style, with live music nights featuring Ibiza’s very finest musicians. November 4 sees Kate McGregor and Barry C. Davidson bring jazz, swing and country of the highest calibre; November 11 is all about Ricardito, the king of Cuban and salsa music in Ibiza, often spontaneously joined by some of the islands great salsa dancers! November 18 is when Jasmine takes the stage, a dynamite diva, and the resident lounge singer at the Ritz in Paris for many years and November 25 sees the return of Miles Island, featuring Miles Roberts and his unique brand of beach funk. Santa Eulalia restaurant Sandy’s invites Ibiza’s talented community of musicians and singers to share the stage every Wednesday night with an open mike music night from 9pm. In its previous hey day, you may have spotted Freddie Mercury, Errol Flynn or Laurence Olivier treading the boards… as for today? Well, you’ll have to check it out for yourself to see who the stars are!

Let’s just get one thing straight. The White Ibiza team are total connoisseurs when it comes to lemon tart. If we could, we’d eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The zesty tang, the crisp pastry, the ever-so-slightly glazed top… you’ve never seen a dish disappear so quickly from the plate than when the White-ettes share a lemon tart (which is silly really, because then we always order a second portion) and we’re happy to report that the homemade lemon tart at Sandy’s Bar & Restaurant – courtesy of head chef Benedict Arnold – totally takes the cake (excuse the pun) when it comes to dessert… Simple, delicious and well worth saving space for after lunch or dinner!
