A poached egg and a glass of wine at Agroturismo Atzaro? How very decadent! As a matter of fact, it’s not a glamorous brunch dish – this slow-poached egg, cooked at a very low temperature and served on top of soft, sliced potatoes and topped with crispy onions and truffle vinaigrette is actually a very traditional Spanish dinner option, served as a hearty starter for those with big appetites! You’ll find it on the menu at La Veranda Night Restaurant (previously known as The Orange Tree), alongside many other delectable twists on tradition to tempt all taste buds.
In search of a light, summery meal perfect for those hot July and August nights? Look no further than The Orange Tree restaurant – the night only restaurant within the magical gardens of Atzaro – where the expert chefs sautee fresh squid and serve it on a bed of lush green peas and edamame beans. Additional flavour comes courtesy of a homemade dashi stock (seaweed based), giving the squid a slightly Japanese taste.
The team behind Ibiza’s much-loved Agroturismo Atzaró is at the top of the island’s culinary table. Boasting a gastronomic Mediterranean fusion menu, plus a very impressive wine cellar, food, drink and ambience are in perfect harmony, in true Atzaró style. The beautiful garden restaurant space has been fittingly renamed in 2013, now dubbed The Orange Tree, in homage to the fragrant orange groves surrounding the hotel.
