This Friday, following Mark Broadbent presents Friends & Family in Jara, descend the subterranean staircase to Down, the hotel’s intimate speakeasy where The Heritage Project presents A Tribute to Balearic Beat. A concept created by Jaime Fiorito as a way to revisit the musical heritage of his father – Alfredo, the father of Balearic Beat – through a new lens, the night is the first in a series of three events. Special guest Willie Graff joins Jaime on the decks, as the duo fuse their extensive musical knowledge and unique take on Balearic style to keep you dancing until the early hours.

This Saturday afternoon, in collaboration with Ibi Eco Activities, La Torre Ibizahosts a special weaving workshop where you can learn to create jewellery, keychains and more with locally grown esparto grass – a wicker-like fibre used in many traditional Ibicencan products such as espadrilles and baskets. You’ll also find out more about the ancient origins of esparto weaving, and discover the different techniques used over the years. The cost of the workshop is 25€ per person, including all materials and a drink, and you’ll go home with your own handmade souvenir of the occasion. This Sunday sees beloved local event Ethereal Ibiza take over Las Dalias garden by day and the hip new Akasha club space by night, bringing together a range of artists, performers, DJs, musicians and exhibitions from midday until the very early hours. Live acts include Paul Powell and Medusa Odyssey, and the event features performances by Guy Williams, Iban Mendoza, Abel Pons, Maricha, Aigua and Fell Reis, plus visual art shows and more. Setting a beautiful table for the holidays involves a lot more than a pretty tablecloth and a few tealights as renowned British designer Tina Vaia will teach you at this Sunday’s The Art of Festive Tablescapes workshop at sustainable fashion centre Agora at Six Senses Ibiza. A ceramic artist (her works are available at Agora) with a background in fashion and architecture, Tina specialises in transforming the most basic of tabletops into emotive and beautiful settings your guests will never forget. A multi-sensorial experience that incorporates a seven-course tasting dinner by special guest chef Boris Buono (Ibiza Food Studio) paired with seven bespoke drink creations by Overall’s incredible mixologists, the evening is inspired by the power of seven colours and promises to be an unforgettable culinary experience.
