Babylon (V.O.) Screening at Cine Regio

9pm – Tuesday January 24, 2023

Movie buffs in Ibiza should make a beeline to the beautiful old school cinema, Cine Regio, in San Antonio tonight for a screening of the original language version of new award-winning flick Babylon, set in the early days of Hollywood. Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film stars Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo and Li Jun Li, and there is one last screening in English today at 9pm. Be quick – there’s still time to snap up tickets, make your way to the cinema and get your popcorn before the credits start rolling.

Whether your meal has been sourced from Scandinavia and created using ancient Japanese techniques or foraged from the Ibiza forests and transformed into high-level Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, both menus have precision, passion and quality at their core. The creative collaboration continues throughout January and February – open from Wednesdays to Sundays between 5pm and 11pm.

After hosting legendary game nights at The Standard, High Line for almost a decade – where celebs like Rihanna and Cameron Diaz have been known to play – the Not Your Standard Bingo event has hotel-hopped across the sea to The Standard, Ibiza. Hosted by singer BLONDEWEARINGBLACK and comedian José Boto, the sellout event transforms the hotel’s ground floor restaurant Jara into a hedonistic playground on Wednesday nights, with whopping prizes to be won. Hierbas Ibicencas Workshop at La Torre Ibiza

Ibiza and Hierbas Ibicencas go hand-in-hand and this Saturday, in collaboration with Ibi Eco Activities, La Torre Ibiza hosts a special workshop where you can learn to prepare the traditional liquor. In the process, you’ll get familiar with the variety of native herbs used to create the digestive drink, be taught about the medicinal nature of some of the plants and bottle up your very own blend to take home – the perfect after-dinner tipple. The cost of the workshop is 25€ per person, including all materials and ingredients, and reservations are essential. Afterwards, stick around for sunset and dinner as DJs spin a Balearic soundtrack and the kitchen serves up creative cuisine with a view.

Sunday Roast at Casa Lhasa

A unique natural wine bar and innovative restaurant in the heart of the tiny village of San LorenzoCasa Lhasa hosts a family-style Sunday Roast every week throughout winter, attracting the who’s who of the Ibiza winter community as well as visiting foodies and wine lovers. From 1.30pm until late, the kitchen serves up a hearty roast dinner that’s guaranteed to evoke nostalgia – think succulent meats, mindful veggie options, crispy spuds, piles of greens and lashings of gravy, all served with a smile. Elegantly urban restaurant and cocktail lab Overall in the heart of Santa Gertrudis is the go-to destination for those serious about high-level cuisine and mixology. The long concrete bar, scattering of tables and open kitchen deliver a unique culinary experience of bespoke and complex cocktails paired with delicious tasting menus from Mondays to Saturdays throughout winter. Mondays see Overall host A Jazzy Monday where martinis are served with three indulgent snacks all based around caviar, and the regular à la carte menu is also available. Vinyl LPs rotate classic jazz on the old-school 1970s Hi-Fi, building a scene reminiscent of downtown NYC in the age of Davis, Gillespie and Coltrane.
