8.15pm – Tuesday March 14, 2023
One of the biggest sports movies of all time arrives in Ibiza tonight, with an original language screening of Creed III at the beautiful old school cinema, Cine Regio, in San Antonio. The first Rocky spinoff not to feature Sylvester Stallone, Creed III – with Michael B. Jordan both directing and starring – has already grossed $179.4 million since its release, so if you haven’t seen it yet, then you’re one of the few. There is just one showing in English today at 8.15pm so be quick! There’s still time to snap up tickets, make your way to the cinema and get your popcorn before the credits start rolling.
9.30am – Wednesday March 15, 2023
Beyond the arched façade of iconic Santa Gertrudis showroom D Shop is a universe of interior possibilities. Colours, textures, patterns and prints run from wall to wall, ceiling to floor, and everywhere in between, with thousands of interior and exterior fabric samples, stunning vintage and made-to-measure carpets and more on display. Once a month, the D Shop team invite island residents to pop in for a Winter Social Coffee Morning, where they can casually peruse the latest collections over coffee and croissants. It’s a great opportunity to meet owner Kate Tilbury Cooke and tap into her interiors advice and expertise, not to mention find inspiration for your winter home make over.
12pm – Daily throughout March 2023
One of the great joys of living the laidback Spanish lifestyle is the chance to connect with friends over a great value menú del día (a set menu that changes daily or weekly) in some of the island’s best restaurants. In Ibiza town, on the buzzy, vibey Vara de Rey, La Cava Ibiza serves up one of the capital’s finest: a two-course (16€) or three-course (19€) lunch made from local, seasonal produce with both Mediterranean and international influences. This week, starter options include a delicious roasted aubergine with beetroot relish or roasted garlic and parmesan fettucine, while mains include pulled pork and coleslaw bao buns, and grilled cod with sun-dried tomato. Homemade desserts and freshly brewed coffee complete the experience, enjoyed on the sunny terrace or in the chic interior on cooler days.
8am – Friday March 17, 2023
Summer starts early in Ibiza, and from this Friday morning, Mikasa Ibiza welcomes the first seasonal visitors to its stylish surroundings on the cusp of Marina Botafoch. Just a stone’s throw from Talamanca, the adults-only boutique hotel boasts a laid-back vibe and spectacular views, and its in-house plant-based restaurant is also open to islanders and visitors daily for beautiful brunches and long, luxe lunches. Go with friends, a partner, or travel solo – it’s ideal for those on fleeting visits to the island, a home away from home that you can drop in and out of with ease, and a warm welcome guaranteed.
10am – Saturday March 18, 2023
As the temperatures on the island steadily rise so do the Ibiza party crowd – right on UP to the rooftop of The Standard, Ibiza from this Saturday. The breezy, buzzy sky-high bar and restaurant in the centre of Ibiza town gently opens up from 10am until 6pm daily, before officially unveiling its new food and beverage concept for the summer season in just a few weeks on April 01, 2023. For now, soak up that gorgeous spring sunshine, the cosmopolitan vibes, jaw-dropping old town views and zesty food and drink – be among the first to see and be seen at the hottest rooftop bar in town.
9pm – Friday March 17, 2023
Ibiza’s favourite drinking den in the heart of the gypsy quarter of Sa Penya in Ibiza town is now open from Thursdays to Saturdays, as Captain Jimmy and co are back (with fresh holiday suntans!) for another rollicking spring and summer season. This Friday night sees Music For Freaks return to take over the decks with Justin Harris, Affani and Bart Ricardo from 9pm. Whether you perch on the terrace or get snug on a sofa indoors, get set for a night of fine spirits, great music and plenty of good banter – all well worth sleeping in and missing whatever plans you’d made for Saturday. Although it’s worth noting – the party continues on Saturday night with Camilo Miranda, Lil Blankiee and Cintisizer.
5pm – Daily throughout March 2023
At this time of year, La Torre Ibiza takes centre stage when it comes to watching the sun go down on the west coast – set on the cliffside of Cap Negret, the venue exudes old school Ibiza vibes thanks to its rustic chic décor, laid-back vibes, breathtaking views and an exceptional DJ roster. This week’s special guests sound-tracking the sunset include Russ Farelo tonight and tomorrow, Bruz on Thursday, Be.lanuit on Friday, Bas White on Saturday and Andy Baxter on Sunday. Take a seat on the heated terrace and enjoy the seasonally inspired menu, fantastic cocktails and emotive soundtrack. A quintessential Ibiza experience.

Elegantly urban restaurant and cocktail lab Overall in the heart of Santa Gertrudis is the go-to destination for those serious about high-level cuisine and mixology. The long concrete bar, scattering of tables and open kitchen deliver a unique culinary experience of bespoke and complex cocktails paired with delicious tasting menus from Mondays to Saturdays. Mondays see Overall host A Jazzy Monday where martinis are served with three indulgent snacks all based around caviar, and the regular à la carte menu is also available. Vinyl LPs rotate classic jazz on the old-school 1970s Hi-Fi, building a scene reminiscent of downtown NYC in the age of Davis, Gillespie and Coltrane.
8.15am – Tuesday March 21, 2023
If you’re looking to start your day in a positive way, one of our favourite yoga teachers, Sanya Ormiston – who hosts a series of Dreamy Wellness Retreats in Ibiza every year – is holding a weekly online vinyasa flow yoga class on Zoom, to help raise money for DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. No matter where you are in the world, no matter what level of experience you have, no matter if your camera is on or off, and if your mic is on mute or not, you can join the one-hour class from 8.15am (island time!) and practice with Sanya for a good cause every Tuesday in March. The class is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners and all you need to do is turn up and donate (see the link for suggested donations) to take part. Every little bit counts!
