Situated on the southwest coast of the island, Porroig is a secluded and quiet hamlet of luxury homes located on a small peninsula. It’s an area not frequented by tourists and therefore provides a discreet and peaceful ambience for escaping the daily grind.

Homes in this area are contemporary designs integrating traditional elements of island architecture. You’ll still see dry stone walls and whitewashing, but more often than not these keynotes are incorporated into high-end, luxurious, modern villas. Close to many of Ibiza’s finest beach clubs and restaurants, Porroig is an excellent choice for families and couples seeking a quiet holiday with easy access to all the action.

Best beaches

The tiny cove of Porriog is a local’s secret that few tourists manage to get to. Surrounded by fishermen’s huts that make for a great spot to lay out a towel, this private cove is graced by crystal clear waters. There isn’t a chiringuito or any sun beds – this is more of a rustic beach experience. The even tinier Es Cucó beach is only 100 metres long and the path down is a little tricky, but once there you find a completely private slice of the Med just for you. Chic beach clubs crown the white sands of Cala Jondal and with the bay filled with super yachts this beach is a picture postcard of Ibiza glam.
