Can Lyra is a five-bedroom holiday villa located in a peaceful and private neighbourhood close to the popular town of Santa Eulalia. An authentic Ibicenco home given a thoroughly modern restoration, the classic whitewashed exterior, stone walls and rustic ceiling beams are complemented by antique furnishings with a hint of Scandi style. Two swimming pools mean adults and kids get their own place in the sun, while an outdoor kitchen and bar allows you to live the classic alfresco Ibiza lifestyle. On those nights when you don’t feel like entertaining at home, the bustling cafés, restaurants and bars of Santa Eulalia are just a short stroll away. Bedrooms & bathrooms

Bright and light-filled, there are five bedrooms at Can Lyra. The master bedroom and two double bedrooms are located in the main villa, while the guesthouse features a quadruple bedroom ideal for children plus an additional double bedroom. Splashes of colour come courtesy of carefully curated art hanging on the walls, creating a homely yet luxurious feeling.

Interior

Polished concrete floors stretch across the communal areas of Can Lyra, while skylights let sunshine stream in to fill each space with natural light. Classic French doors provide a sense of nostalgia as they open out onto sunny terraces, while cool Scandinavian inspired interior design brings the villa up to date in terms of trends. The open kitchen features classic Ibicenco style wood beam ceilings, in contrast with its stainless steel and black fittings. A chic and simple interior dining space is an option for meals, or working from home, while the ultra-comfy living room featuring sumptuous sofas, stylish art, An adjoining TV room is the place you just want to melt into after a day of exploring the island. 

Outdoors

The large swimming pool sits in pride of place in front of the finca, dotted with sun loungers and succulents rising out of typical Mediterranean style terracotta pots. A smaller two by two-metre pool sits off to one side, perfect for keeping an eye on the kids without having to forgo your own place poolside. A shaded dining area adjacent to the kitchen seats up to 12 guests, while another secret dining table and barbecue area is tucked amongst the trees, shrouded in blooming bougainvillea – the perfect place to make lifelong memories. By day, a glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea in the distance is inspiring, while by night, the views of the iconic Puig den Missa church illuminated on the hill are even more magical.

Good to know

  • A cleaning service is offered is once a week on Wednesdays, and pool towels are provided for all guests.
  • There is no air conditioning in the communal areas, however large double doors and windows open up to allow air to flow through the villa. All bedrooms are fitted with air conditioners.
  • An osmosis filtered water system has been installed in the kitchen for safe drinking water for all guests. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Phasellus ac maximus tortor. Pellentesque faucibus lorem pulvinar tortor iaculis luctus. Etiam rutrum non nunc facilisis fringilla.
  • While the main house is fitted with SONOS speakers, the owners of Can Lyra ask that you keep music to a minimum around the pool area to respect the neighbours.
  • This is a very safe villa for families as it is fully enclosed, so children can enjoy exploring the garden, splashing about in the shallow pool or using the ping-pong table.

    The owners of Can Lyra invite all guests to help themselves to any of the fruit and veggies from the trees and organic garden.

    The nearby town of Santa Eulalia is brimming with restaurants, including Sa Carboneria, which serves up some of the best meat on the island. We also love Galician restaurant O Galego right on the waterfront, plus the new W Hotel for a special night out, starting with dinner at La Llama and followed by drinks at rooftop cocktail bar Glow.

    There are several organic farms dotted around the island but Can Lyra happens to be close to our favourite: Ca’n Pere Mussona. The kitchen –run by White Ibiza private chef Emiliano – is open all day on the weekends for late brunch or a refreshing homemade lemonade. Private dinners can also be arranged on the farm grounds. Emiliano also loves to give tours of the farm, which houses llamas, pigs, chickens, ponies and more – great for kids.

    Keeping kids entertained on holiday is not always easy – no matter how many hours they’re allowed to spend in the pool! When they’re feeling restless, zip up the road to Acrobosc (near Cala Pada) so they can let off some steam zip wiring through the treetops and learning how to rock climb. It’s a sure-fire way to guarantee a good night’s sleep.

    The iconic Las Dalias Hippy Market is just a 15-minute drive from Can Lyra and offers the best authentic shopping experience on the island, along with varied food options, cocktail stalls and live music. Whether it’s a boho beaded necklace, customised leather boots, unique arts and crafts, or just some amazing people watching you’re seeking, Saturdays here are the place to be. 

     

Policies

  • Please keep in mind you are renting a private home and our owners request that you treat their property with respect at all times.

  • This villa operates a Saturday to Saturday changeover in high season, however there may be flexibility at other times of the year. 

  • Check in is any time after 4pm on the date of your arrival. Check out is 10am. Late check ins can be arranged if needed due to flight times and are subject to an additional fee.

  • Due to our agreement with the owners of Can Lyra, only approved White Ibiza suppliers may be given access to the villa during your stay. This includes private chefs, shopping home delivery services, nannies, massage therapists and more, which can be organised by our team on request. Please note, we require a deposit for these services.

  • Ibiza internet quality can be questionable at times! White Ibiza cannot be held responsible for the quality of the WiFi service in this villa.

  • White Ibiza Villas requires a credit card security deposit of 1,500€. This will be refunded on confirmation that no damages were caused during your stay at Can Lyra.
