Characterful but simple two-tone bedrooms nod quietly to the past, where lustrous dark wooden flooring and vintage pieces of furniture are a sharp but savoury contrast to an all-white theme. A bright blanket or splash of art provide the colour, feature walls are decorated with mirrors and statement antiques sit against white washed walls. White bathrooms are bright and modern with warm sandy overtones; the largest includes space to be seated in front of the windows, its smooth creamy lines softened with small pieces of art and tiny rustic touches. The rest are smooth and simple, creamy and dreamy; expertly finished and minimally dressed.

Interior

Understated, elegant, with a homely feel and minimal undertones, the feel of Casa Odette is classic contemporary with an antique twist. The interiors are quite simply immaculate but in no way sterile, styled throughout in a subtle blend of white and soft sandy neutrals with small dashes of colour and well-placed rattan or rustic accessories. Feature walls are carefully dotted with the cutest mirrors and miniature pictures, breaking up the classic modern feel with a more personal touch. One white kitchen has its own personality with the odd blue tile, and the second kitchen is a contemporary haven of simplicity and calm like the rest of the house.

Outdoors

The lush lawn appears to stretch into the surrounding countryside where ancient olive and fig trees preside regally. The pristine swimming pool is framed by oversized sun beds and sofas shaded with natural fibre parasols. The wraparound terrace leading from the living room becomes another chill out zone under the dappled pergola with suntraps at either end. Alongside the pool is yet another gorgeous open-air lounge plus a summer kitchen and alfresco dining under the shade of an enormous carob tree. A half-sized football pitch is immaculately maintained for impromptu games and a cubby house provides endless hours of fun for the little ones.
