Ibiza wellness: Featured class – Hatha Vinyasa at Hot Yoga Ibiza
Understanding that the usual heat at Hot Yoga Ibiza is not for everyone, Ibiza yoga instructor Sebastien Carincotte has introduced a different, heat-free series of classes to the studio’s schedule. Hatha Vinyasa Flow follows a sequence of 84 poses taken from the Ghosh lineage divided into three sessions, and is practiced without heat, based on physical exercise and breathing designed to take you to concentration and meditation.
Classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.45am until 11.15am. It is highly recommended students practice all three days to experience the benefits of the full sequence of 84 asanas (positions), to work the body in a safe way, avoiding repeating the same movements again and again every time you come for practice. The class is suitable for all levels, and can be adapted to suit each student, focusing purely on postures, breath work and meditation. And remember… it’s without heat!
