A MODERN SPACE DRAWING ON ELEMENTS OF THE PAST TO INSPIRE HAPPINESS
“I like things that are different,” says Celine Esterle, reflecting on the unique interiors of her recent design project in Ibiza, Can Siena. Taking inspiration from the 50s, 60s and 70s and fusing it with contemporary art and bespoke pieces, the decoration is an intentional contrast to the all-white, minimalistic exterior, designed by renowned island architect Jaime Serra. “It was like a vision,” she explains of her inspiration. “When it came to me, it was like a puzzle. I had to work out how to make the pieces fit together. I’d dream about it at night and wake up with fresh ideas every day.”
