Ibiza winter: Es Jardins de Fruitera

Traditional Ibicenco food has always come with a warm hearted Mediterranean hug from the Roig family, original founders of the famous Cala Jondal beach restaurant Yemanja. Today, the family work their culinary and hospitality magic all year round at the exquisite leafy setting of Es Jardins de Fruitera, on the outskirts of Santa Gertrudis.

Roasted fish and seafood specials, tender slow cooked fresh meats and steaming authentic rice dishes make up the delectable menu. Most fish and seafood are caught between Ibiza and Formentera, while vegetables are cultivated in local fincas and the much-loved chuleton is flown in from Galicia. To top it all off, the wine cellar boats a huge selection at half the price of some places on the island.

Hours: Friday and Saturday from 1pm until 4pm and from 7pm until midnight.
