Ibiza winter: La Imprenta
A beacon of neo-classical chic, La Imprenta Grand Café brings a touch of Parisian cosmopolitanism to a quaint, cobbled street corner in the heart of Ibiza town. Dripping in theatricality, with a French and Spanish-inspired menu to match, it’s unlike any other venue on the island and open all year round. Plush velvet curtains sweep down from the ceiling alongside vintage crystal chandeliers; soft furnishings come in a range of regal colours; all combine to whisk you back in time.
The richly decadent menu is presided over by famed Spanish chef Pablo Montoro, who cut his craft at none other than El Bulli, and includes twists on traditional dishes like croques monsieurs and duck confit paella served with foie gras, to be enjoyed in the restaurant’s luxury brasserie or on the alfresco terrace.
Throughout the winter months, the restaurant offers a daytime ‘dish of the day’ for just 12€ plus three very special daily set menus for just 35€ per person from Monday to Thursday, giving you a chance to access the exceptional fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost. Friday nights are accompanied by smooth jazz and blues, with live vocals and performances while Saturdays see the venue transformed into a cabaret, inspired by Chicago.
