Ibiza restaurants: Passion Cafés
Health & happiness
Creating an even healthier, happier, bigger buzz than ever before around the island this season is Passion Café, an Ibiza restaurant concept dreamed up by Lana Love in 2002 that has now expanded to include six hot Ibiza locations.
The latest feather in Lana’s cap is Passion San Jose, an ‘upgraded’ Passion concept dubbed Passion Good Food & Wine. The emphasis here is on delectable dining – think high end eatery rather than cafe, though of course you can still pop in for the island’s best coffee – in a beautifully fresh space.
The original Passion Café still stands proudly on the bustling main strip of Playa den Bossa – catering to beachgoers, holidaymakers and passing by party people. Juices, smoothies and salads sit alongside big breakfasts, burgers and lush desserts – something to suit all appetites.
Passion Restaurante in Marina Ibiza boasts a high-end café feel by day and organic fine dining by night. The emphasis on freshness and quality here is unparalleled, with all produce plucked straight from local organic farms and only payes chicken and fish on the menu – no red meat is served in any of Lana’s restaurants. Passion Santa Eulalia, situated right on the busy promenade with views over the Med, echoes this ethos, with more of a focus on fabulous vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
Passion BFit takes the concept inside a gym – offering members and non-members healthy snacks, sandwiches and salads plus superfood smoothies and protein shakes, for on-the-go or on the sunny terrace. Last, but most definitely never least, Passion Pantry and Juicery in the Marina area offers a selection of amazing healthy deli products and groceries, plus cold-pressed fresh juices, Lana’s famous detoxes, daily specials and more.
Now, there really is a Passion for everyone.
