Pura Vida is a gorgeous Ibiza beach restaurant on the east coast, oozing elegance, charm and a relaxed, luxurious ambience. No two days are alike – on Mondays, DJ Soul Man spins soulful classic tracks, then from 7pm, Ibiza Flamenco legend Paco Fernandez performs. Wednesday afternoons are dubbed ‘Welcome to the Beach’, a laidback affair with chilled beach music by DJ Rene Lezare and guests, while Fridays are a double treat, with a special ‘Seafood Friday’ menu, and Kids In Ibiza setting up shop to entertain the little ones while you lap up the luxury!

La Sardina Loca: Breakfast & lunch daily
Take an Ibiza winter day trip to Cala Carbo and be sure to stop off – whether for a healthy breakfast or hearty lunch – at hip new restaurant La Sardina Loca, with a focus on fresh, organic meals at affordable prices. Boasting a cosy, cafe-style ambience and super cool decor like custom-made Moroccan tiles lining the back wall, mismatched furnishings such as Javanese school chairs and recycled wood tables plus luxe designer pieces and cool cane lampshades hang overhead, the restaurant is the brainchild of KsaR owners (and design gurus) Alberto Cortes and Yvonne Hulst. Conveniently, KsaR is right next door, so you can indulge in a bout of retail therapy while you’re in the neighbourhood!
La Cava: 5 days, 5 menus, 5 options!
Looking for the perfect, cosy Ibiza winter lunch spot? La Cava – situated in the heart of Ibiza town on the busy Vara De Rey shopping strip – provides the perfect solution for those who work or meet in town (with WiFi!) or those shopaholics who simply want somewhere to hang out while the boutiques close for siesta!
From Monday to Friday between 1pm and 4pm, La Cava offers a special ‘menu del dia’ – three set courses for just 11.50€ – with five different starter, main and dessert options to select from. When you do the math, that means you could eat here every day without having to try the same thing twice… or on the contrary, you can come back again and again if there’s something you really love! Whatever the reason… we love La Cava for lunch in the Ibiza winter season.
La Escollera: Open 7 days a week
Looking for a sheltered position to watch those winter waves crash onshore, while tucking into some of the best winter warming food in the Balearics? La Escollera, on the beautiful coastline of Es Cavallet, is open seven days a week throughout the Ibiza winter season and offers an unparalleled view of the now deserted beach plus plenty of cosy, covered corners for the chillier days or after the sun goes down. Chow down on the famous paellas, including the house specialty, ‘La Escollera’ with lobster or try the ‘Gallo San Pedro’, John Dory baked in salt and served with Ibicenco-style potatoes or ‘Tigres’ (stuffed mussels) – all steaming, hearty and the perfect Ibiza winter lunch.
