Approaching Cala Vadella is an absolutely spectacular sight – driving around the winding road you’ll first spot the deep blue bay, dotted with many a glam white yacht and as you snake your way down the hill into the quaint resort town, you’ll see the water change to a pretty turquoise green at the shallow, calm beach end.
A small yet wide arc of sand is dotted with beach towels and sunbeds in the summer, however in the pre-season, don’t be surprised if you see the occasional horse rider galloping along the beach.
Popular with families, there are plenty of water sports available and restaurants perched right on the sand.
How to get there:
Cala Vadella is serviced by buses from San Antonio and San Jose throughout the summer months and by car and taxi all-year round. A small car park is on site however you’ll need to arrive early to get a spot, particularly on weekends.
