Nestled among the undulating hills of Benimussa, Essència Ibiza is a hidden gem set within the postcard-worthy grounds of boutique hotel Can Vistabella. The restaurant opens its doors to guests in addition to visitors for intimate Sunday Roasts this winter, for just 10 people at a time.
You’ll be welcomed by the friendly team to a communal shared table, then indulge in a smorgasbord of a feast courtesy of Executive Chef Francisco Moreno. Starting with Picanha carpaccio with truffle sauce, arugala and parmesan, and exquisite ham croquettes to share, then enjoy delicately roasted suckling pig, mashed potatoes and vegetables with apple sauce. Dessert is a home-made apple tartin with vanilla ice-cream – all for just 35€ per person, with prior reservations essential of course.
