Alban Le Henry ‘Something For An Island’

The first program of work offered for this year at art space Ses12Naus is from scenographer and industrial product designer, Alban Le Henry, ‘Something For An Island’ running from Saturday March 09, 2024 until Friday March 22, 2024.

Inspired by his move to the island last year, the Frenchman has taken the simple Ibizenco chair, providing an open source design, and invites visitors to experiment and rediscover the responsibility of creating a work well done. The opening event on March 09, 2024 will take the form of a workshop experience where participants can purchase kits containing pre-cut wooden boards and screws to build their own chairs, and the closing event will transform La Carpinteria into a participatory happening to show the chairs and exchange ideas.
