New Year’s Eve Lunch & Dinner at Amalur

1pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

There are few spots as romantic as Amalur and at this time of year, the enchanting fine dining restaurant takes its magic to the next level. Decked out in thousands of fairy lights, and draped top-to-bottom in fresh garlands and glistening baubles, a New Year’s Eve spent here will be truly unforgettable. Open from 1pm through until just after midnight, with non-stop service, it’s the kind of place you can settle in for a very, very long lunch or simply a beautiful dinner. Order your favourite Italian fine dining dishes from the à la carte menu – plates that taste as every bit as exquisite as they look – or sample the seasonal specials, including bespoke elixirs, complemented with fine wines and Champagne, while live music and a roaring fire add further to the festive feel.

Mexican NYE Menu at Chidas Bar and Cantina

If you’re looking for a New Year’s Eve treat with a spicy twist, there’s a special little corner of Ibiza town that has the perfect menu on offer. Chidas Bar and Cantina have designed a one-off NYE menu where each course follows the restaurant’s philosophy that every taste must tell a story. Start with mince pie ponche, followed by porcini mushroom on blue corn tortilla with sweet truffle cheese and salsa tomatillo; delight in soft shell crab huaraches with salsa Americana plus mussels, prawns and preserved lemons; tuck into tasty stuffed plantains with sweet potato and black turtle beans; savour the fresh lemon fish with chickpea puree; devour the venison with pickled shallots and aji Amarillo mayonnaise and pancakes, and finally, dessert is bunuelos of caramel, fig and honey ice-cream plus local sweets, all washed down with the island’s finest selection of Mexican agave spirits – reservations essential.

NYE Menu at A Mi Manera

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

Set in a beautifully restored ancient finca on the iconic San Juan ‘restaurant road’, A Mi Manera is a magical place to see in the new year. The charming venue begins its NYE celebrations on Saturday evening with a four-course set Mediterranean menu with an Italian family influence for 150€ per person (excluding drinks). The decadent dinner begins with an impressive selection of seasonal starters – think mini-Wagyu tartare with quail egg, smoked artichoke carpaccio and pumpkin flan among others – followed by festive first courses such as fusilloni with monkfish, or Champagne risotto with caviar and truffles. Tuck into a delectable slow-cooked Angus fillet on truffle parmentier for your main course and be sure to save room for dessert including textured cheesecake with salted caramel sauce and the chef’s own Panettone. Reservations highly recommended.

New Year’s Menu at Cas Gasi Restaurant

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

Cas Gasi Restaurant is truly something special throughout the festive season. Gather your loved ones and head to the heart of the Santa Gertrudiscountryside for New Year’s Eve, where you’ll be welcomed as if you were family, before being seated in the beautifully decorated dining room to enjoy a specially designed menu for 180€ per person (excluding drinks). You’ll be welcomed with Guillemaud oysters and kimchi croquettes, then sit down to a selection of hot and cold starters including foie mi-cuit with green apple, goat cheese and homemade quince; Iberian ham with crispy bread, or seafood bisque with a touch of Pernod among others. Main courses are a choice of wild seabass on a bed of green leaves with Zuke sauce or free-range beef cheek with broccoli and pumpkin parmentier. Be sure to save room for dessert – Tart Tatin Maison or creamy 70% chocolate cake – plus festive sweets and chocolate. A beautiful way to ring in the new year.

Last Disco of the Year at Casa Lhasa

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

Stylish countryside restaurant Casa Lhasa – in the heart of the tiny village of San Lorenzo – is renowned for an eclectic, ever-changing menu and its New Year’s Eve à la carte selection is guaranteed to be a memorable one. Think delights such as grilled lamb sweetbreads with labneh, pickled chilli and za’atar, roasted pig heart with salsa verde or other simple but delicious dishes like radishes with anchovy butter, barbecued courgette and pesto, and Ibizan red prawns sizzled in brown butter. Daily specials are based on seasonality and availability at the local market. Dinner kicks off from 8pm – either in the garden or by the toasty fire inside – complemented with natural bubbles and vinos all night long, plus disco tunes from Carl Fure and Lil Blankiee until the clock strikes 12 and we welcome 2023 with a bang! A New Year’s Eve Soirée at Finca La Plaza – NOW SOLD OUT!

Set just off the beautiful main square of Santa Gertrudis, Finca La Plaza is like a secret just waiting to be discovered; a winter haven for island foodies seeking high-end gastronomy in chic and relaxed surroundings. Chef Sergio Cardeñosa delivers a masterpiece of a New Year’s Eve set menu, with five courses for 120€ per person, starting with a glass of Champagne and followed by bold and innovative dishes in the lead up to the midnight hour. Music is provided courtesy of DJ Bruz, who’ll assist in the countdown to the New Year, with another complimentary glass of Champagne served at midnight. Please note this event is now completely booked out, so only those with existing reservation confirmations will be permitted to enter.

New Year’s Dinner Party in Jara at The Standard, Ibiza

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

Say adios to the old year and bring in the new at Ibiza town’s hottest hub – Jarain The Standard, Ibiza. Savour a spectacular set menu from 8pm featuring appropriately indulgent delights such as Queen scallops with beurre blanc and caviar; duck and mushroom cannelloni in truffled sauce, and grilled red prawns to start. Mains are served sharing style and include charcoal-grilled red snapper alongside local potatoes or roasted leg of lamb with vanilla demi-glace, truffle parmentier and creamy spinach and much more. The set menu is 155€ per person and includes wine and desserts, plus an impressive soundtrack by the island’s finest musical talents, Nightmares on Wax, The Brothers Grim and Willie Graff. The traditional 12 grapes and party favours are provided at midnight to ensure a prosperous New Year, and don’t forget to check out the after party in Down, the venue’s intimate underground speakeasy.

New Year’s Eve Menu at La Cava

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

With parties popping up all over town, Vara de Rey looks like the place to be to kick off the 2023 New Year celebrations and the team at La Cava have devised a very special set menu for the occasion that’s 100€ excluding drinks or 125€ with a selection of wines, beer and soft drinks until midnight. Start with an innovative appetiser that fuses croquettes with Spanish calçots in romescu sauce, followed by your choice of Thai scallop salad, baby veggies cooked in the Josper oven or duck cannelloni with foie, mushrooms and pear. For mains, choose between the veal terrine with potato puff pastry, the Galician turbot in albariño sauce or the mushroom risotto with pumpkin cream, and for dessert, the creamy white chocolate and with red fruit micro-sponge cake with a crunchy pistachio base is the perfect sweet treat. At midnight, diners will be given 12 lucky grapes to coincide with the clock striking midnight and the dawn of a new year!

New Year’s Eve Menu at La Torre Ibiza

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

As we bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new, La Torre Ibiza invites you to spend the evening on their heated terrace, starting with the iconic Ibiza sunset and then indulging in a festive set menu created for the occasion. Start with aperitivos such as of shellfish soup with basil oil and a ‘liquid croqueta’ of jamón bellota and panko followed by entrees like grilled leek with citrus and crispy kimchi or langoustine gratin with smoked aioli. Main courses are a choice of veal cheek with warm parmesan foam and fried rocket or sea bass with spinach carbonara and Basque sofrito. Finally, dessert is a sweet futomaki filled with rice pudding, dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. Priced at 135€ per person, the menu (with a vegetarian option available) includes wine and 12 lucky grapes at midnight, ready to pop with each chime of the clock as it hits 12, as is tradition. Don’t forget to make a wish, or a reservation, as spaces are limited.

New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Farmers’ Market at Six Senses Ibiza

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

At this time of year all focus turns to the new year: setting new intentions, celebrating and making even more magical memoriesand Six Senses Ibiza is hosting a laid-back New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Farmers’ Market to mark the occasion. Tickets are 280€ per person (including sommelier selected wines) and starts with Pata Negra acorn-fed ham and Melanosprum truffle, plus Guillardeau No2 oysters in vintage cava and red fruits. Next up is Mediterranean Blue Lobster with coral bisque, then glazed 28-hour slow-cooked lamb with white truffle jus and smoked farm pumpkin, finishing with persimmon textures with vanilla and almond cream and saffron ice cream for dessert. Expect lots of laughter, live music by Annie Bea and access to the Six Senses Ibiza NYE party.

New Year’s Eve – The Sacred Fire of New Year at VIVO Bistrot

8pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

The team at VIVO Bistrot have quickly become been known for their conscious menu and community vibe since opening earlier this year. This Santa Gertrudis favourite is keeping the festivities going through to New Year’s Eve with an evening specially designed to honour the universality of new beginnings. Their unique event – The Sacred Fire of New Year – features an Asian set menu journeying into the flavours of the sea (with vegan options available), with dishes such as fried rice nigiri with flambé salmon, red prawn carpaccio, lobster Pad Thai and more. Music is an essential element in the VIVO Bistro realm and a DJ set from DJ Etna and Rebecca Sadr from Giardino Dei Visionari completes the experience. The fire ceremony takes place at midnight, leading us into day 1 of 365 new blessings – reservations recommended.

New Year’s Eve Cosmic Feast at The Beach Caves at Six Senses Ibiza

9pm – Saturday December 31, 2022

If you’re looking to take the style stakes up a notch on New Year’s Eve, make a beeline for the adults-only (18+) New Year’s Eve Cosmic Feast in The Beach Caves at Six Senses Ibiza, where you’ll be treated to a taste of Ibiza’s future via all the senses while overlooking the sea at Cala Xarraca. Begin with cream of Formentera spiny lobster, followed by snacks to share including oysters Guillardeau No2, stuffed beets with ‘pate payes’ and white truffle, plus more. Starters are served sharing style, with parihuela of Galician shellfish and scorpion fish, roasted wild turbot with yellow chili pil-pil and sweet potato ocopawith agave sauce. For ‘El Principal’, you’ll be treated to Balearic Wagyu short ribs with truffle and baked apple, while for dessert, enjoy almond milk rice with burnt lemon sorbet and tapioca as you count down to midnight. The sommelier’s wine selection is included and places are 290€ per person, with live music by Janax Pacha, plus access to the Six Senses Ibiza NYE party.
