You can read a body just like you would read a road sign or a newspaper. And in order to get an idea of what’s going on on the inside, you don’t need to read the whole book, you can read the main headlines. The more yoga I do, the less I sometimes feel I know. It’s like my initial understanding of yoga and its benefits is constantly being challenged as I become more open and conscious in my own life. Like this morning, I was teaching a private Ibiza yoga session to a client I have had for five years. We ‘know’ each other – I know her body and her thought process and in fact, I can see that thought process reflected totally in her body. She is trying so hard to ‘let go’.
