Hailing from Santiago, Chile, Max Rivera Papic has created a menu that highlights the island’s wonderful local produce and fish, along with the highest quality ingredients from artisan producers. Think simply prepared crudo, oven-roasted garden vegetables, refreshing salads, spaghetti neri alle vongole, whole roasted Branzino with salmoriglio, pollo payes and more. Old favourites like the restaurant’s signature focaccia, salumi and formaggi boards, plus tinned fish from the Mediterranean remain and it’s always worth saving room for desserts like seasonal cakes and crostata, not to mention the beloved Italian panna cotta. Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 1pm until 10pm, walk-ins and reservations are welcome.
