Winter Ice Skating Rink & Food Trucks

We’re the first to admit it’s not real ice (but squint and you could believe it is), but that still doesn’t stop us loving the cute kids’ ice rink in the fairy-lit Plaza Reina Sofia, outside the walls of Dalt Vila this holiday season. ⁠

Popping up every night from 5pm until 8pm, then from midday to 7pm on weekends, there are carols playing on the loudspeakers, peals of laughter from the little ones as they learn to skate (grown-ups are welcome to supervise and teach too), and squeals of joy coming from the colourful bouncy castles – be sure to look out for the oh-so-Insta-friendly snow globe. There’s also some tantalising aromas floating across the airwaves thanks to food trucks serving up treats like bao buns, cotton candy and popcorn, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and lots of other tasty treats. ⁠
