Named for a mystical tree found in the dreamy forests on the island of Rhodes, Zitya Ibiza exudes an other-worldly wonder. Once a year, the extraordinary zitya tree emits a captivating scent, attracting a plethora of butterflies that rest during the day and form mesmerising patterns at night. The analogy echoes the spirit of Ibiza, where a vibrant community of beautiful social butterflies converge at this magical Ibiza fine dining restaurant on the famous road to San José.

Embracing the legendary soul of this rust-hued farmhouse, once renowned for its wild parties, Zitya Ibiza – reimagined by renowned hospitality entrepreneur Omar Abdel Khalek – presents an experience created in homage to the island of Rhodes, via an exploration of its Greek and Ottoman roots. Romance abounds across the exquisitely designed spaces at this cultured Ibiza fine dining restaurant, gracefully unfolding into the elegant patio adorned with twinkling fairy lights, a chic bar and lounge where skilled mixologists craft bespoke cocktails with artistic finesse, and a sophisticated interior dining room within the traditional finca that exudes luxurious charm.

Start your experience at golden hour by perusing the unique Zitya Ibiza cocktail list, where each the name of each elixir reveals a lyric poem describing the Aegean-inspired philosophy behind the Ibiza fine dining destination. Executive chef Timothy Newton has created a sensorial menu designed with sharing in mind – as the sun goes down, begin your experience with delectable mezze such as mutabal dip with pomegranate, sumac and olive oil; the crispy feta kataifi; or a lemony tirokafteri with roasted peppers, feta, harissa and pickled vegetables. Other starters include a juicy lamb kebab with garlic yoghurt, pickled peppers and a spicy tomato salsa or beef carpaccio of cured tenderloin with caper relish, green tahini, feta and pita croutons.

A selection of salads includes the Zitya Ibiza take on the classic Greek, made with heirloom tomatoes, feta, peppers, capers and kalamata olives in a minty oregano dressing; and a plate of marinated beetroot with labneh, pistachio crumble, crispy almonds, chicory and mint all doused in a blood orange vinaigrette. The Ibiza fine dining flavours crescendo with mouth-watering mains such as the 24-hour braised Sultan’s Lamb Delight, served with smoked aubergine and pomegranate molasses, a tantalising seafood orzo with grilled octopus, red prawns, mussels, olives and herbs and a tender 24-hour, tea-brined roast chicken with yoghurt marinade, confit potatoes and tzatziki.

The Sound of Zitya is a curated music experience that resonates throughout the walls of the beautiful Ibiza fine dining restaurant, enriching the ambience with an eclectic selection of Spanish, Balearic, Greek, and Arabic artists. The result is a sensual and playful atmosphere that lingers throughout the night. Zitya Ibiza is not merely a place to dine but a poetic journey through time and culture, where nostalgia and tradition blend with the vibrant spirit of Ibiza.
